Playground Areas
 After considerable public input and many hours of special work sessions a playground design evolved that everyone can be proud of. Artistic walls with attached benches and flowing pathways encircle a blend of modern and traditional play equipment. Fun semi-circles create boundaries distinguishing the different age oriented play equipment. A climbing area exists allowing for children to hone their skills and muscles on the various hand and foot holds. Parents and guardians can relax on the many benches provided, or kick back under the nearby trees.
The playground, ball fields, and restroom/storage/concession building create a central hub for Crown Mountain Park. It isn't hard to imagine a summer evening with a game of adult softball going on while the air is filled with the sounds of children playing at the nearby playground.
Another playground is slated for construction near the skate park during phase two of park development.
