Trails and Paths
There are a variety of trails throughout the park including concrete, asphalt, and a relatively new product for soft trails, recycled concrete. The main trail is a concrete loop that encompasses the large active recreational areas and ball fields, and separates the turf grass areas from the native seeded areas.

Roundabout
At the entrance to the park is a directional roundabout that greets those going to any of the landscaped parking lots with a host of seasonally interesting plant species.

Park Landscape
The active recreational areas of the park, including the soccer field areas and the ball fields are seeded with a sports turf mixture of bluegrass and rye, while the outlying open space areas are seeded with a native seed mix. If you look closely you may see several varieties of wildflowers.

PlaygroundClimbing Wall
A complete climbing wall offers a variety of climbing routes for the more adventurous visitors to the Crown Mountain Park playground situated at the center of the park.

The concrete around playground is complete.

Tennis Courts
The tennis courts have been poured. As of 16 November 2005 we are waiting for a response from the tennis court contractor to see if we will be able to install the tennis posts and fencing in 2005. The weather will be the determining factor.

The dog park fence is in.

Board Meeting Minutes
By the end of 2005 the park was beginning to look like a parkwith the installation of an exciting new playground that was sporting climbing structures and modern playground equipment.
